New Delhi

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif welcomed Sikh pilgrims from India to Pakistan during the Baisakhi festival. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the festival marks more than just the beginning of the harvest season. It should be considered a symbol of hope, renewal, and progress.

He congratulated all the people who celebrate this festival of spring.

This time Pakistan has issued visas to 2200 Sikh pilgrims. Here the Baisakhi fair will run from April 12 to April 30.

The Sikh pilgrims were welcomed into the Gurdwara by the head of the Management Committee and the Abandoned Waqf Property Board. He was garlanded with flowers. Pilgrims on this Pakistani.

The pilgrims thanked the officials for their hospitality. Sikh pilgrims would be taken to Hassan Abdal by 3 special trains. They would also visit various religious places including Nankana Sahib, Panja Sahib, Kartarpur.
