Success comes to those who try hard and don’t give up. This was the approach of Sadia, who recently cleared the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) examination and would soon get admission into a Medical College.

PH Sadia of Manipur told Awaz-the Voice that her father was very keen to see her attend a medical college. She prepared at Rahmani 30, a Muslim Educational Trust, in Bangalore, Karnataka.

This year, she has not only cleared the NEET but also topped the list of selected candidates from the State.

Sadia is the eldest of the four children of her parents. Her father is a government servant while mother a housewife.

Sadia said she would like to become a gynaecologist after completing five-year MBBS course.

Rahmani School of Excellence (RPE), Manipur State Coordinator Muhammad Raees Ahmed has expressed his happiness on Sadia’s success. “It is a great moment for all of us. One of our sisters, PH Saadia, has scored 641 marks in NEET and she stands on the first in the mini-state,” he said.

It should be noted that Taslima Sahani, a student of Rahmani 30, had also secured second place in Manipur last year. The consistently excellent performance of Muslim students is definitely encouraging and a positive development for Muslims, especially girls.
