Thrusday is Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's big day. The couple are getting married this afternoon.

The wedding ceremony slated to begin soon take place in Vastu, the Mumbai apartment block Ranbir and Alia live in.

Only close family members and friends are invited. Early arrivals included Akansha Ranjan, Neila Devi Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji.

The mothers and sisters of both bride and groom were spotted at the wedding venue this morning - Neetu Kapoor drove to Vastu with daughter Riddhima and Alia's mother Soni Razdan was spotted with her older daughter Shaheen Bhatt.

A haldi ceremony was reportedly held this morning ahead of the wedding.

A mehendi was held at Vastu yesterday. Among the guests were Ranbir's cousins Kareena and Karisma Kapoor, his best friend Ayan Mukerji and Alia's mentor Karan Johar.

Shweta Bachchan, who is married to Ranbir's cousin Nikhil Nanda, was also there with her daughter Navya Naveli Nanda.
