Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated India's first Zen garden in AMA, Ahmedabad. The inauguration ceremony was held virtually due to the on-going pandemic restrictions. The glimpses of the same were posted by the prime minister on his twitter handle.
Zen rock gardens or karensansui hail from medivial Japan, and has a niche for serenity and simplicity. They were traditionally used by monks to relax and meditate.
This garden is likely to attract more visitors in the near future all thanks to the aesthetics and ambience.
