On the recent developments in the country wherein conflicting ownership claims are being made on certain religious places, the Muslim Rashtriya Manch, an affiliate of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has said that there is a need to ascertain the reality of all the places because only truth will lead us to a solution and that has to be found through mutual dialogue or the court.

“Everyone needs to know the truth of these historical and religious beliefs,” many leaders of the MRM said.

The leaders appealed to all the Indians not to vitiate the social environment by speaking over the courts when they are arbitrating matters of history and culture. “Let the truth of historical and cultural heritage come to the fore.”

The Manch said certain people have a vested interest in creating unrest in the country and action must be taken against them.

President of the Forum, Mohammad Afzal, National Convenor SK Muddin, Raza Rizvi, and Abu Bakr Naqvi said that since the survey of the Gyanvapi mosque in Varanasi had indicated the presence of a Shivlinga inside, every effort is being made to pollute the environment of communal amity by anti-social elements and some religious leaders.

The Manch leaders said the peace and brotherhood are becoming a casualty due to the provocative statements of some opposition leaders.

Expressing concern over the rising campaign to spike peace, the Manch leaders said that along with the Gyanvapi mosque, new religious places of historical importance like Mathura's Shri Krishna Janmasthan Mosque, Red Fort, Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, Ajmer Sharif, Bindumadhav Temple, Nalanda University, Buddhist Vihar, etc. are coming under the scanner.

“These issues are disturbing the social environment of the country. Whereas it’s important to ascertain the reality of all these places because it’s only in the light of the truth the solution of the problem can be found through mutual dialogue or maybe by accepting the verdicts of the courts.”

Shahid Saeed, media in charge of RMM said that any dispute can be resolved by firstly accepting the truth. "Leaders and institutions are trying to instigate people by refusing to accept reality. It seems that they do not want to follow the path of God, the Quran, and Islam honestly. Instead of condemning the invaders, they seem to be standing on their side," he said.

National Convener of Women's Cell of RMM Shahnaz Afzal, Shalini Ali, and Reshma Hussain said that it’s a historical truth that the Indian Muslims have no relation with the Islamic invaders of India.

“We are the Muslims of India and will be so forever. From Gauri-Ghajini to Babar-Aurangzeb, all the invaders have destroyed the religious faith and historical places of the country indulged in forced conversion, and committed atrocities against the natives. However, our relationship with India's tradition and civilization are unbreakable. We the people of the forum have been warning everyone about the attackers like English, Dutch, Portuguese, etc.

Regional co-convenors Hassan Noori and Salim Khan Pathan said that India enjoys a good image across the world. "The world and humanity have high hopes for India. This is possible only when Indians will maintain harmony and peace.” They said and appealed to all the organizations and other bodies to be alert to the mischievous elements. “We must thwart every attempt aimed at vitiating the atmosphere in the country,” they said.

The forum leaders said even by following the teachings of the Quran and Islam, disputes can be resolved. The instruction in the Qur'an is that "Lakum dinekun val ya deen" meaning “Follow your religion; respect the deen (religion/faith) of others and don’t criticize. Only those following this instruction are the real Hindustani Muslims.”
