The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday conducted raids at the office of National Herald newspaper in connection with a money laundering case involving party leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.

Recently, the ED had questioned Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi for several days in the case.

On Tuesday morning, a team of probe officials reached the office of National Herald and started the search operations.

The raids were conducted among other locations at the head office of the newspaper in Delhi.

ED searches at the premises are being conducted to gather more evidence to establish the money trail in the case.

Both Sonia and Rahul Gandi are facing accusations of misusing party funds to acquire valuable real-estate through a questionable financial deal.
