Singapore has given four cryogenic containers to India in support of New Delhi’s fight against a deadly second wave of Covid-19 that is sweeping the country.

An MCC transport plane of the Indian Air Force airlifted four tankers from Changi airport this morning. The cryogenic containers are badly needed for transporting liquid medical oxygen from plants to hospitals and Covid care centers in various part of the country.

India has already placed order for 25 cryogenic containiners with Germany and the order will also be airlifted as soon as the containers are ready.

The Embassy of Singapore in Delhi released pictures of the MCC aircraft being loaded with the cryogenic contained and taking off from the Changi airport Saturday morning on Twitter.
