India is holding a meeting of the national security advisers of neighboring countries in New Delhi on November 10 to discuss the peace and security situation in Afghanistan. Russia, Iran, and Central Asian countries have confirmed their participation in the NSA- level meeting that will be chaired by Ajit Doval of India.

Pakistan’s NSA Moeed Yusuf has refused to attend the conference while China is yet o respond to the invite.

India said the interest of neighboring countries in the proposed New Delhi-Afghanistan meeting on November 10 was encouraging, but Pakistan's decision was regrettable.

The Taliban have not been invited to the meeting. Russia, Iran, and five Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, have confirmed their participation.

The encouraging response from several countries to the proposed Afghan meeting in New Delhi on November 10 is a sign of regional efforts to promote peace and security in Afghanistan, Foreign Ministry sources said.

However, the source said, "Pakistan's decision is unfortunate but it came as no surprise. It reflects the mentality of Pakistan, which considers Afghanistan as its subordinate. Pakistan has not participated in meetings in the past under this format and Pakistan's statements in the Pakistani media against India are a failed attempt to divert attention from its destructive role in Afghanistan.

It should be noted that this is the third round of talks on the security situation in the war-torn country of Afghanistan under this format. Earlier, two rounds of talks were held in Iran in September 2018 and December 2019, while the third round meeting was scheduled to be held in India in 2020 but could not be held due to the epidemic. Meanwhile, the situation has changed dramatically since the August 15 withdrawal of US and other international forces from Afghanistan and the Taliban's takeover of the country.

In response to a question regarding his participation in the New Delhi meeting, Pakistan's National Security Adviser Moeed Yousaf had said on Tuesday that he would not go, how could a pervert try to bring peace?

About Afghanistan, Pakistan's policy so far has been that it is not persuaded to attend any meeting without a Taliban representative. The Taliban has not been invited to the meeting convened by India in New Delhi. Is. This kind of excuse shows Pakistan's weakness somewhere.
