TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday asserted that people’s support for the party has remained unwavering over the years.
Delivering his keynote address on the first day of TDP’s annual conclave 'Mahanadu' at the party's central office in Mangalagiri, Naidu highlighted the party's 45-year legacy of championing public causes.
“Over the years, people’s support for TDP has not diminished. For 45 years, TDP has been fighting for public issues. It did not back down even in the face of attacks, violence, murderous politics, fake cases and harassment,” the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister said.
Reflecting on the challenges faced during the previous YSRCP regime, Naidu said he was arrested illegally while TDP working president Nara Lokesh’s padayatra Yuvagalam (political walkathon) was blocked back then.
However, he said people blessed TDP and entrusted it with the mandate to govern once again.
