Quake in Delhi and neighbouring states again

New Delhi

Delhi and its neighbouring states witnessed earthquake tremors again on Saturday.

The severe tremors lasted nearly 10 seconds a little before 8 p.m. and were reported from Noida, Ghaziabad,Gurugram and many places in Uttarakhand.

" Earthquake strikes Nepal at 19:57 Hrs with a Magnitude of 5.4 and depth of 10 km and Epicentre of 212 km SE of Joshimath, Uttarakhand," the National Center for Seismology, tweeted.

No casualties or reports of damage following the earthquake in Delhi and neighbouring areas have come through yet.

This is the second time in less than a week that Delhi has experienced a quake. Strong tremors were felt in Delhi and adjoining cities around 2 a.m. on Wednesday after a 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck in Nepal.
