Muslim organisation Raza Academy recently staged a demonstration outside Minara Masjid in Mumbai against the recent targeted assassinations of Kashmiri Pandits and Hindu migrants in the Kashmir Valley.
Raza Academy president Muhammad Saeed Noori asked the authorities in Jammu and Kashmir to take action against those indulging in atrocities on the minorities in the Valley. He said, “The Muslim community stand by the Kashmiri Pandits.”
“Take action against those who are doing these atrocities. We stand by Kashmiri pandits,” he told a news agency.
The Mumbai based Raza academy described itself as a Sunni Barelvi organization of Indian Sunni Muslims that promotes Islamic beliefs through publications and research. It posted the following pictures and the accompnaying post on Twitter:

In the photographs of the demonstration shared by the official Twitter handle of Raza Academy, protesters can be seen holding placards in Hindi, English and Urdu that read ‘Stop attacks on Kashmiri Pandits’.
The killings had led to exodus of Kashmiri Pandits many of whom had since returned to Kashmir taking offer of the government jobs, have left. “We call upon the government to act swiftly to retain the faith of the Kashmiri Pandits and make efforts to safeguard ther lives and properties in the Valley Raza Academy and Muslims of Mumbai stand in solidarity wid the Kashmiri Pandits and condemn the terrorist attacks on their families,” it said in a post on Twitter.
