Spiritual Guru Baba Siddha Ji Maharaj said that India is made up of a fusion of Hindu-Muslim system. “Whoever talks about breaking our unity - an Imam or the Temple priest - he should be ostracized,” he said while speaking at the Parliament of religions organized by the Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind under its Mission Sadbhavna that is aimed at restoring the communal amity and addressing growing regious hatreds.

The meeting which was attended by leaders of different religion in part of the series of proposed 1000 Sadbhavna Parliaments to be held across the country by the Jamiat-Ulema-e-Hind faction led by Maulana Mahmood Asad Madani. Already many meetings have been held in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Telangana.

Baba Siddha Ji Maharaj, Director, Gaushala Noida, said religious men preaching hate of others of breaking this intrinsic unity of India are to be treated as anti-social elements. Such persons need to be boycotted by all.

He said Indians have ciommon ancestors; everyone is related to its soil.”We much consider each other as our strength and must establish unity and harmony to please the souls of our ancestors.”

Maulana Hakimuddin Qasmi, general secretary of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, said  last month, similar events were organized at more than 100 places.

He said that India is a beautiful country. Its prestige and greatness lies in the reality that people of all religions have lived here for centuries. Their houses and courtyards are juxtapposed.” Those who spread hatred in this country will never succeed,” he declared.

Speaking on the ground situation, he said Navin Chandra Ballabhbhai Bhatia, a non-Muslim, had donated his land for the welfare works of Jamiat in Kutch region of Gujarat.

Prof Akhtarul Wasey, eminent scholar and academician, said that “Indian Muslims do not need  a certificate of their love for the country. I am proud that India is my motherland.”

Responding to a campaign that Muslims would overtake population of Hindus in India, Wasey said, Muslims are there since ages. How can they become a majority in the coming years? Those who want to spread confusion do not really love this country.”

Maulana Niyaz Ahmed Farooqui, Secretary, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind said that though religion teaches humans to unite it’s a harsh reality that some people create hatred by using religion as a weapon. He said religious leaders must speak against such elements. He said that it was due to Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind's message of peace that RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has joined peacemaking forces.

Another spiritual leader Harjot Singh Ji Maharaj Haldwani said that all religious leaders should remain committed to protecting the truth.
