Delhi will be hosting a two-day ‘Haruduk Mela’ that will showcase Kashmiri culture.

The mela which will be held on Friday and Saturday promises to be a delight for food lovers and shoppers of the city. It will have authentic cuisine from the valley, as well as handicrafts and shawls from the ‘Paradise on Earth’.

Organised by the Kashmir Education Cultural Science Society (KECSS), the mela will be a great advertisement for the rich Kashmiri heritage and hospitality.

The organisers of the mela are promising an out of the world experience for food lovers. They can come and enjoy the world famous mouth-watering ‘Wazwan’.

“We have very prominent stall partners like Ahad Sons, who will take care of authentic Kashmiri cuisine, well-known Kanwal Foods who are in the business since 1971, and many more such partners in the sphere of spices, food, handicrafts, artefacts, shawls, clothing and carpets,” said Savita Koul Shali, spokesperson of KECSS.

For those who love to collect artefacts, they will get an opportunity to add to their collection further. The mela will have stalls selling handicrafts and hand-made shawls too, as also some music and fun for children.
