Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday assured people seeking financial help for medical treatment that the government will bear the full cost and no one should delay treatment due to lack of money.

During the ‘Janta Darshan’ held at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan in the Gorakhnath temple complex, the chief minister interacted with around 200 people, many of whom — particularly women — sought assistance for treatment of serious ailments, an official statement said.

Adityanath told them to get admitted to advanced medical hospitals without hesitation.
“The government will arrange the entire cost of treatment. No one should avoid medical care because of financial issues,” he said.

He directed officials to immediately process medical estimates and forward them to the government to facilitate timely support under the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund.

The CM assured people that every complaint submitted during the event would be addressed promptly. Applications of visitors were handed over to the concerned departments for follow-up.

Adityanath also instructed officers to deal with public grievances with seriousness and sensitivity, and to take strict legal action in cases related to land grabbing or intimidation. For family disputes, he advised officials to prioritise dialogue and mediation by engaging both parties.
