Arjun Maini will continue with HRT Ford Racing for the 2026 season of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM), driving the Ford Mustang GT3 EVO.

The No. 36 Ford Mustang GT3 EVO will feature an updated design in blue and yellow metallic colours reflecting the branding of team partner RAVENOL. The partnership also focuses on the development of high-performance lubricants and brake fluids that contribute to the car’s performance.

Maini, a Ford Racing Factory Driver, has been a regular competitor in the DTM since the championship switched to GT3 machinery. The 28-year-old has participated in 78 races in the series, achieving three podium finishes and one pole position with HRT.

Since 2022, he has represented the team in several international GT racing programmes. In 2025, he joined the global squad of factory drivers for Ford Motor Company and competed in the debut season of the Ford Mustang GT3 in the championship.

Maini is widely regarded as one of India’s leading racing drivers, and his achievements have contributed to the growing international presence of Indian motorsport.

The team and driver are now preparing for the official pre-season test scheduled for April 14 at the Red Bull Ring. The 2026 DTM season opener will take place from April 24 to 26 at the Austrian circuit in Spielberg.

Ulrich Fritz, Managing Director of the Haupt Racing Team, said the team is well prepared for the upcoming season and expects Maini to play a key role in the development of the new GT3 EVO package.

“I am thrilled and honoured to be competing in the DTM with HRT Ford Racing for another year — my second as an official Ford Racing Driver,” Maini said, adding that the team aims to secure victories and podium finishes in the new season.
