Suryakumar Yadav's blistering half-century and fine cameo of unbeaten 33 by Rishabh Pant guided India to a seven-wicket win over the West Indies in the third T20I of the five-match series on Tuesday.
Chasing a target of 165, the Rohit Sharma led side got off to a great start as both openers Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav started playing aggressive strokes.
After the captain retired hurt following a muscle pull, Suryakumar brought up his half-century in 26 balls.
Along with Shreyas Iyer, the duo stitched up the fine partnership and took the team's total beyond the 100-run mark.
Suryakumar finally departed in the 15th over for a 44-ball 76.
The visitors finally overcame the target with three seven wickets and six balls in hand.
Earlier, West Indies set up a 165-run target largely thanks to a masterful half-century from Kyle Mayers and a good finishing charge by Rovman Powell.
Mayers scored 73 runs in 50 balls while Powell played a 14-ball cameo of 23 runs.
India now leads the five-match series 2-1.
