India is all set to increase its medal tally at the commonwealth games as the wrestling events start on Friday.
The Indian wrestling contingent will kick-off its campaign with Bajrang Punia and Deepak Punia in the Men’s 65 kg and men’s 56 kg category respectively.
Also in action will be Rio olympic bronze medalist Sakshi Malik in the 62 kg category.
Apart from the wrestlers, in badminton, K Srikanth and PV Sindhu who had easy wins over their opponents in the round of 32 on thursday, will look to seal their places in the last-eight.
Friday will also see our squash stars in action. Joshna Chinnapa, Dipika Pallikal, Saurav Ghoshal will play their women’s doubles and mixed doubles matches in the evening.
Later in the night, the Indian women’s hockey team will take on the mighty Australians for a place in the final.

In athletics, Hima Das will feature in the women’s 200 meters semifinals on Saturday early morning.
