People in Dhaka held a protest against China on Friday to raise their voice against the naked massacre of pro-democracy students by the tank-borne Chinese Army in Tiananmen Square in 1989.

People held a big protest outside Baitul Mukarram mosque in the memory of the Chinese students killed brutally by the PLA 32 years ago. The students were demanding political reforms in China and a democratic set up for their country.

The mob displayed banners with “Genocide day" slogans; held candlelight vigils and raised slogans against the Chinese Communist regime.

On June 4, 1989, the PLA had launched a brazen bloody crackdown on a group of students demanding democracy in their country at what is known as the Tiananmen Square massacre. They mauled the protesters invoking criticism from all over the world.

Not only that the PLA also quickly removed the bodies of the protesters washed all the bloodstains and placed flowers pots at the place of massacre.

The Chinese regime under Xi Jinping has become more authoritarian monitors the  movements and social behaviour of its citizens and has not allowed any discussion on democracy on the mainland.
