The early Saturday morning terror attack on a Gurdwara in the Afghan capital city of Kabul has ended. This was confirmed by the Taliban-led government.

A security guard and a devotee were killed when terrorists lobbed a grenade, detonated a car bomb and opened fire inside the gurdwara complex in Karte Parwan locality of the city. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack but the needle of suspicion points at terror group ISIS Khorasan.

According to local media reports, the gurdwara came under a barrage of multiple blasts when the granthi was was heading for 'Parkash', the first prayer of the morning at the gurdwara. Unidentified terrorrists entered the sikh temple and began to open indiscriminate firing.

According to sources, atleast 20-25 people were inside the gurudwara at the time of the attack.

This attack is the latest in a series of such attacks on religious places of minorities in Afghanistan.
