The External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar today held talks with the visiting Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud on a range of issues including developments in Afghanistan.
Jaishankar wrote on Twitter that he had a “cordial and productive meeting” with the Saudi Foreign Minister.
The two leaders had “very useful exchange of views on Afghanistan, the Gulf and the Indo-Pacific,” Jiashankar said after the meeting.

He said in the meeting they also discussed “our cooperation in the political, security and socio-cultural pillars of our strategic partnership.”
Al Saud reached Delhi on Saturday for his three-day visit.. He will call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday.
