People Pakistanis have shared the images of the vandalized temple and the damaged status on social mediai. Pakistani writer Suraksha Dedai is mong thosw who have condemned the action. He tweeted, "This is shameful."

Pakistani human rights activist and lawyer Rahat Austin claimed some people were trying to shield the criminals involved in the act by saying the temple was a temporary structure. Rahat has also shared the video of the incident to refute this version on Twitter.

He said "In this video the reporter says that the idol of Lord Krishna has been vandalized in the temple. Now I don't understand what some people want to say.”

In another Tweet Rahat said “some friends are telling me it was "okay" to attack because it was just a temporary place of worship, while in the first line of this video, the report at the scene is clearly saying a " Temple" which means "Hindu Temple". He does not mention about permanent or temporary.” Along with this, the question is also whether the religious place will be temporary, even then one can attack and sabotage it like this?
