Following the disqualification of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan from the Toshakhana reference, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Party activists took to the streets across the country to record their protest against the verdict issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

Three major arteries leading to Islamabad have been blocked by the district administrator to avoid any untoward incident.

In a major decision, the Election Commission of Pakistan on Friday disqualified PTI Chairman Imran Khan, finding him guilty of not sharing details of Toshakhana gifts and proceeds from their sales during his time as Prime Minister.

A five-member bench, headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, unanimously ruled against Khan under Article 63 of the Constitution.
