The Taliban government in Afghanistan has welcomed the Dialouge on Delhi Regional Security Dialouge on Afghanistan.

The spokespersons of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan claimed while it welcomes the declaration “it has already fulfilled all the demands mentioned by the conference.”

“The Islamic Emirate welcomes the India meeting. We are trying to take solid steps in governance, and the world countries should not be worried Afghanistan soil being used against anyone,” said Inamullah Samangani, deputy spokesman for the foreign ministry.

The Delhi dialogue hosted by India’s NSA Ajit Doval was attended by National security Advisors of eight countries Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

The declaration called for collective efforts to see that Afghanistan is not used to spread terrorism and religious extremism in the neighbourhood and also sought urgent humanitarian aid for the people of Afghanistan.

Besides, the declaration also called for formation of an inclusive government in the country and end to foreign interference and prevented Afghanistan from being used against other countries.

“World countries are trying to bring their wishes via negotiations to the Taliban and these meetings have a positive result for Afghanistan,” said Sayed Haroon Hashimi, a political analyst told TOLO News.

According to TOLO News Afghan political experts say that such meetings could be effective in ensuring stability and economical development.

“The India meeting is effective for Afghanistan because India is one of the aid-providing countries to Afghanistan and it is now also interested in supporting Afghanistan,” said Sayed Hakim Kamal, an international relations analyst.

TThe Afghan government was not invited by India for the regional conference; China and Pakistan didn’t participate.
