Mateen living in a slum gets full marks in PUC

New Delhi

Mateen Jamadar of a village in Gulbarga, Karnataka, has set a new record by securing 600 marks out of 600 in the state's Pre-University Course examination.

His success is being applauded across the State and his parents are extremely proud of him.

Earlier in the year 2018, Mateen had secured 619 marks out of 625 in SSLC examination.

Mateen Jamadar's father Nabi Saib Jamadar is a mason. The family lives in the slum area of a village. He is quite elated at the success of his son.

Eminent personalities and the Officials of the Karnataka government were also among those who congratulated him.

The Indian Mulims History has congratulated Mateen and his parents for his acievement:

Chief Secretary Revenue, Government of Karnataka, Mohammad Mohsin tweeted and congratulated Mateen. In his tweet, he wrote that Gulbarga's 'proud son of a mason' had set a record for his numbers. Congratulations. Not only this, the chief of Karnataka Minorities Welfare Commission has also congratulated Mateen on his victory.

The Directorate wrote on Twitter: “We are proud of Matin Jamadar for securing 100 percent marks in the PUC exam. Our department is providing scholarships to such ideal students to provide better opportunities for higher education and make a bright future.”
