The biennale organised by the Culture Ministry is called "Art Architecture and Design Biennale 2023".
It is an initiative by the Centre to patronise the Indian art and architecture
The inaugural event took place at the Red Fort on Friday, 8th December, 2023
It is a week-long event started from December 9, 2023 to December 15, 2023.
The biennale is inspired by PM Modi's directive to establish 5 cultural spaces in India, including one at the Red Fort.
The idea is to create a global cultural event comparable to those in Venice, Sao Paulo, Berlin and Dubai.
