People from across Kashmir are thronging to Hazratbal shrine on the bank of Dal lake to have a glimpse of the Moi-e-muqaddas, the holy relic, on the occasion of Eid Milad-un nabi (Propet Mohammad's birthday.

Men and women, young and children from different corners of the Valley visited the shrine. people turned emotional as the caretaker displays the relic, a strand of the hair of the Prohpet stored in a glass jar, from the first floor of the shrine.

The relic is displayed after each Namaz on the day of the Milad and the next day.

In Rajouri town of Jammu close to the Line of control (LOC) people prayed in the local Jamia mosque on the occasion of the Milad and also took out procession.
