AMU committee to probe violent cricket match incident

A three-member fact finding committee has been constituted to inquire into a clash in which an Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) student suffered severe head and brain injuries. 
 
While Prof. Hashmat Ali Khan is the convener of the committee, Prof. Arshad Hussain and Ajay Bisaria are members
"The committee members inquiring into the matter will submit the report within five days," said Prof. Mohd Wasim Ali, AMU Proctor.
He also informed that the student who allegedly attacked the injured student has been suspended with immediate effect and the university campus has been declared out of bounds for him, pending further inquiry.      The Kashmiri student  who was injured in a clash during a cricket match was taken to the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) in an unconscious state. His condition is now stable.
 
Both the alleged attacker and the injured are second-year students of the Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), AMU.
