Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar will remain in the intensive care unit (ICU) for a few more days, her doctor said on Sunday.

The Bharat Ratna recipient was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai last Tuesday and is still under treatment. The 92-year-old star is suffering from COVID-19 as well as pneumonia.

Dr. Pratit Samdani who is treating the veteran singer said, "Lata ji is still in the ICU. She will remain under the supervision of doctors for a few more days. It is difficult to say how many days she will be in the hospital. No one is allowed to meet her."
