The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday raided the department under the leadership of Nawab Malik, a minister in the Maha Vikas Aghadi government of Maharashtra, in connection with the alleged scam. According to the information, ED conducted search and raid operations at seven places in Pune. ED raids are also going on in Aurangabad of the state. Meanwhile, the ED raided the Waqf Board land in connection with the alleged scam.

According to the Band Garden Police of Pune, the two people arrested in the case in August were trustees of the board. However, some other officials of the trust had accused him of using the property for personal gain.

This operation has been done at a time when Nawab Malik is targeting BJP and NCB. Let us inform that Nawab Malik has been in the headlines of the politics of the state for some time. After the arrest of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan by the Narcotics Control Bureau, he is a frequent attacker on NCB officer Sameer Wankhede.

Recently, he made serious allegations against the Leader of Opposition of the state, Devendra Fadnavis. After this, Fadnavis also claimed to be involved in a dubious land deal.

Meanwhile, Fadnavis's wife Amrita Fadnavis made serious allegations against Nawab Malik on Thursday. He tweeted that Nawab Malik shared derogatory tweets including some pictures. A notice of defamation has been issued including action under various provisions of IPC. Fadnavis then claimed to be involved in a dubious land deal.
