Elaborate arrangements are underway to permit Muslims to offer Eid-ul-Adha prayers at the Taj Mahal at 8.30 morning on Sunday.

On this occasion, the concerned authorities like the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) are working to make foolproof arrangements to permit people to offer namaz on the monument’s lawns.

On the occasion, tourists will also get free entry to the Taj Mahal from 7 am to 10 am on Sunday.

It’s a gesture offered by the ASI at the special religious festival. The ASI has sent a communication to relevant authorities to facilitate the free entry of everyone.

However, the entry fee will be charged to tourists only after 10 o'clock.

Each year thousands of worshipers gather on the lawns of the Mughal monument on the day of Eid-ul-Adha prayers. Keeping the security of this world-famous monument in mind the CISF keeps an eye on every corner of the Taj Mahal.

Those entering the monument for offering Namaz are permitted to enter in the queue from the eastern and western gates of the Taj Mahal.
