Dr. Khwaja Iftikhar Ahmed author of The Meeting of Minds - A Bridging Initiative has welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to the Indian Muslims for introspection on their anti-Modi and anti-BJP stand for the sake of their children’s future.

In a special interview with a news channel Times Now, PM Modi said, "For the first time, I am telling the Muslim community to introspect..If you keep thinking that you will decide .who will be in power and who will be dethroned, you will spoil the future of your children," he said in an interview with the Times Now television channel.

Dr. Khwaja Iftekhar Ahmed said, “The Muslim community is caught in the web of its making and this has restricted their thoughts and ideas and they no longer can think creatively and impartially."

Responding to PM Modi’s statement in which he asked the Muslims to think independently and not fall for the narrative set by some leaders the author said, "I completely agree with the Prime Minister that he has called upon the Muslim community to introspect, which is very welcome."

Khwaja further said, "His call for Muslims to fill the BJP office with your presence, go and sit there, meet officials and common workers, and see the reality, understand and self-examine it. Who is stopping them is well come”
