Imams of north Kashmir have called for elimination of the drug menace and working for peace in the region.

 The decision was taken in the meeting of the All Jammu and Kashmir Imam Association held at Warpora area of Bangus Valley in north Kashmir under the chairmanship of Hilal Ahmad Lone.

The meeting was attended by more than 30 Imam hailing from different parts of the north Kashmir district.

The meeting was held with a view to chalking out a plan to spread awareness about the shared values of peace, Drug menace, and other social issues.

The Imams agreed that peace is very important for the welfare of the Society and also the development of the state.
