Time magazine named Prime Minister Narendra Modi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Serum Institute of India CEO Adar Poonawala among the 100 most influential people of 2021.

Time on Wednesday released its annual list of the 100 most influential people of the year 2021. Like every year, the magazine has released a list of the 100 most influential people in the world from various fields, including politicians, artists and Players are also included.

The list includes US President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Chinese President Xi Jinping, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan, and former US President Donald Trump.

The list also includes Taliban co-founder and Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar.

Time Magazine's list of 100 most influential people is divided into 6 major categories - Pioneer, Artist, Leader, Icon, Titan and Innovator.

According to PM Modi's time profile, in the 74 years since independence, there have been three prominent leaders in India - Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Narendra Modi.
