India's student organization "Muslim Students' Organization of India (MSO) has criticized the recent religious violence in neighbouring Bangladesh. Along with this, there has been a demand to curb the people responsible for this.

The MSO says that radical organizations are behind the violence. The MSO has demanded justice for the victims. The MSO issued a statement in New Delhi saying that the destruction of Hindu-Muslim harmony is behind the religious violence that started from the city of Kormala in Bangladesh. For this the Jamaate Islam of Bangladesh is responsible. It is promoting fundamentalism instead of secularism.

MSO national president Shujaat Ali Qadri said that Sheikh Hasina's government in Bangladesh is constantly striving to maintain harmony. Sheikh Hasina is moving ahead with friendly relations with India. Under these circumstances the fundamentalist elements of Bangladesh are desperate and want to create disturbances.

To fulfill the agenda of the fundamentalists, Wahhabi elements carried out violent incidents during Durga Puja. Interrupted worship and committed murders. This sheer injustice is complete and unfair. He said that the cordial relations between India and Bangladesh will not be allowed to deteriorate. Hoped that the relations between India and Bangladesh will remain as before.
