Leaders representing different religions whose followers live in India participated in the "Nagpur Sadbhavna Summit - Ek Bharat - Shreshtha Bharat" which was organized at the Dargah of Hazrat Baba Tajuddin.

The summit was jointly organized by the Indian Minority Foundation of New Delhi, Hazrat Baba Tajuddin Trust, Nagpur, and the Chishty Foundation of Ajmer.

The participants were unanimous in giving a call to all Indians to follow the path of peace, unity, and inclusion. Rajya Sabha MP and IMF convener Satnam Singh Sindhu told the summit stressed the importance of promoting global peace and cooperation by associating with big international events like the G-20 Summit. 

Haji Syed Salman Chishty, Gadi Nasheen of the Dargah Ajmer Sharif, and Chairman Chishty Foundation spoke about ted the timeless wisdom of Sufi teachings. He stressed the importance of serving humanity and spreading the message of peace.

He said that the legacy of Sufi personalities and Dargahs across India goes back several generations and their existence encourages us to develop harmony and compassion.

Chishty said that the world is looking towards India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and it is proof of his foresightedness.

The Nagpur Goodwill Summit was held in the backdrop of the holy shrine of Hazrat Baba Tajuddin, which symbolizes the universal message of love and tolerance given by the Sufi saints.

Satnam Singh Sindhu highlighted the importance of Sufi shrines across India, which serve as symbols of spirituality for people of different religions - Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Jains, Christians, Buddhists, and Parsis.

At the onset, the Indian Minorities Foundation laid wreaths at the grave of Hazrat Baba Tajuddin as a sign of respect and reverence for his teachings of compassion and harmony.

At the event, the participants prayed for unity, peace, and harmony across India and the health and well-being of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Tajabad Trust President Pyare Zia Khan appreciated the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to establish the Sufi Corridor. The proposed corridor will connect all the Sufi religious places across India.
