On the occasion of Dhanteras, a day to celebrate the birthday of the God of Ayurveda, senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar visited the shrine of Sufi saint Nizamuddin Aulia in Delhi and urged people of all faiths to celebrate the occasion of the installation of the statue of Lord Rama at the grand temple of Ayodhya on January 22, 2024.
The dargah is illuminated on the occasion of Diwali, the day when people celebrate the return of Lord Rama, his wife Sita, and brother Laxman to Ayodhya after a 14-year exile and his anointing as the King.
Indresh Kumar who is the convener of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch said people of all faiths must celebrate the commissioning of Lord Ram’s temple at Ayodhya as a grand festival to spread the message of humanity, and peace.
He said Ram, who is also called Imam-e-Hind (leader of India) is in every heart, and people across the world should light the lamps of peace and unity on January 22, 2024, acknowledging his presence in Ayodhya.
Kumar highlighted the inseparable bond between Ram and Sita, expressing the desire to install a 251-foot statue of Sita in Sitamarhi, Bihar, her birthplace.
Indresh Kumar said that we must choose love over war to eliminate dark elements related to caste, religion, language, etc.
He called for mutual respect for all religions and participating in each other's festivals to foster unity.
Indresh Kumar praised the efforts of the Muslim National Forum in illuminating the country's shrines, mosques, and mausoleums during Diwali under the "Jashn-e-Chiragan."
He highlighted their mission of distributing essentials to the poor and needy on this occasion.
