India skipper Rohit Sharma became the first captain in cricketing history to win 13 consecutive T20Is.
Rohit achieved this feat during the first T20I match of the three-match series against England on Thursday.
After taking over the captaincy from Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma has taken the Men in Blue to victory in all the series he has captained.
Rohit had to miss India's fifth Test against England at Birmingham, after testing positive for Covid. He now has the envious record of remaining unbeaten as captain in all formats of the game. He took over from Virat as the Test captain last year.
Rohit has led India to 9 T20I wins since last year. India has been ruthless since the last T20 World Cup. India beat New Zealand, Sri Lanka and the West Indies in back-to-back home bilateral series.
Rohit now has led India to 25 wins in 29 matches across formats.

On Thursday in the first T20I against England he added another record against his name by becoming the third Indian skipper to score 1000 runs in T20 internationals. The other two are MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli.
