Israel hailed Nepali student Bipin Joshi, hailing him as a hero for saving lives by throwing live grenades out of a shelter during the Hamas terror attack on 7 October 2023.
Several Israelis gathered outside the airport to honour his memory.
Yesterday I was honored to bid the last farewell to Bipin Joshi, the agricultural student from #Nepal who was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists to Gaza &murdered there. A young man, his dreams and his family’s hopes crushed, brutally deprived of his future 💔May God bless his soul… pic.twitter.com/hiCFuJHv0q

Hamas terrorists abducted Bipin Joshi, a Nepali student, on 7 October and later killed him in their captivity. Hamas terrorists also killed 10 Nepali students during the 7 October terror attacks: Their names are: Naryan Prasad. Ganesh Kumar. Ashish Chaudhary, Dipesh Raj Bist, Anand Sah, Rajesh Kumar, Rajan Phulara, Padam Thapa Pravesh Bhandari and Lokendra Singh.
His family was given to believe that he was alive in the captivity of Hamas as the captors made him speak to his family once and later send videos to assure them he was with them.
