Dilip Kumar aka Yusuf Khan who passed away on Wednesday morning shared a fanbase not only in India but also Pakistan. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan took to Twitter to express his grief on the thespian's demise.

Saddened to learn of Dilip Kumar's passing. I can never forget his generosity in giving his time to help raise funds for SKMTH when project launched. This is the most difficult time - to raise first 10% of the funds & his appearance in Pak & London helped raise huge amounts.

Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, expressed his grief and shared a picture of the actor from his last visit to Pakistan

It is noteworthy that Dilip Kumar's ancestral house was in Peshawar, Pakistan and the late actor was known for having fond memories of the same

The state funeral to the late actor will be given at Juhu, Santacruz, Mumbai at 5pm on Wednesday. In the recent developments, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackrey, bollywood personalities like Shahrukh Khan, Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor were seen moving towards actor's house to pay their respect.
