Fugitive Industrialist Nirav Modi, who is wanted for criminal conspiracy and defrauding banks, would be extradited to India soon.

The decision to this effect was taken by the UK Home Ministry. Modi had left India secretly before investigations into his role in defrauding PNB and other banks were launched and had surfaced in London.

He had taken citizenship of Belgium and also sought political asylum in the UK.

Nirav Modi is wanted in multiple Bank scams in India.
