Abdul Alim never gave up dreaming and working hard to rise in life and he has become an inspiration to all who know him.
From starting life as a security guard in a private company, Abdul Alim has risen to the post of web software development engineer to show to the world that poverty can never come in the way of one’s ambition.
Abdul Alim passed the 10th standard to become a security guard in a start-up company in Chennai. While working at the company, he developed a great mobile application the app.
Not only did he impress the bosses in the company with his skills, he joined the company's technical team as a software development engineer.
In the last 8 years Abdul Alim was promoted several times and has gone up in the career.
Despite this, he hasn’t lost the memory of his earlier life. Abdul Aleem recalled his past life and on a Facebook post where he also shared his story.
He wrote, "I left my house in 2013 with only Rs. 1,000. Came to the city with a train ticket of 800 rupees. After wandering the streets for two months, the security guard got the job.
“One day, a senior employee of the company asked my name and said Alim! I see a lot in you. They asked me about my education and my knowledge of computers. "When I told him that I had studied computers in school he asked me if would like to know more about computers. I said yes. I had 12 hours of duty every day. After finishing, I started working with him. During this period, I created a software application commonly called App.
"My senior showed my app to the management of the company. I was interviewed. Today I have completed my glorious eight years in Joho,” he wrote.
According to Abdul Aleem, today skill is much more valuable than an academic degree.
