Besides prayer, fasting, Hajj, saving the life of Allah's creatures is the greatest worship. The Qur'an also says that one murder is like killing all human beings and saving one life is like saving the lives of all human beings.

Aqeel Mansoori of Udayasagar Chairaha, Kajipur, Rajasthan followed the same message as the Holy Quran. He broke the fast to save the lives of the two women because he knew that fasting and prayers in the name of Almighty can be made up, but he misses an opportunity to serve a fellow human, it will never come again.

Aqeel Mansoori, 32, is one among many Indians who followed this divine message to help the COVID patients in the month of Ramazan. Aqeel broke his fast and saved the lives of two women who were affected by Coronavirus.

Both women were not known to him nor did they practise the same religion as he did. They were bound by the relationship of humanity.

It happened in Adepur Pacific Hospital. Thirty-six-year-old Nirmala, a resident of Chhoti Sadri, Adepur, was suffering from Coronavirus infections and so was the 30-year-old Alka, a resident of Reshbhdev. Both had been in the hospital for several days and their condition was not improving.

The doctors asked their families to quickly arrange an A positive plasma donor to save their lives.

Meanwhile, this reached the volunteers of Rakt Yawa Vahini. The volunteers knew Aqueel Mansoori, a frequent donor, had the same blood group as that of the hospitalized women as he had already donated blood 17 times.

Members of the Rakt Yavahini approached Aqueel with a request to donate plasma. He quickly agreed and came down to donate plasma. However, the doctors refused to take his blood because a person with an empty stomach can’t donate.

Aqeel Mansoori was fasting during the month of Ramazan. He told the doctor he is ready to break his fast to help the patients. He quickly ate his breakfast. Doctors tested his blood for antibodies and took his plasma.

Aqeel said he would pray for the recovery of the two women. He said he is thankful that he got an opportunity to save two lives as it’s the worship of God.

Earlier, Aqeel has donated plasma 3 times and blood 17 times. He is affiliated with Rakt Yavahini, comprising young volunteers serving humanity.
