In the ongoing outreach to the youth in Kashmir, the Awantipora Police today felicitated students of Tral, Awantipora and Pampore of south Kashmir who have scored 99% and above marks in the tenth board examinations.

The results of the examination were released on Friday.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Awantipora, Tahir Saleem, congratulated the students for their outstanding performance and hoped that they would inspire others.

Tahir Saleem interacted with students and their parents over a cup of tea. He also appreciated the role of their teachers, guardians and parents in their achievement.

He advised students to remain focused in achieving excellence in whatever they do.

All the 11 students were felicitated with a trophy and a letter of Appreciation each by the officer.

The young achievers are: Anum Malik, Aiman Jan, Muskan Shafi, Lubna Bin-Ti Mushtaq, Meenu Ashraf, Zahid Shafi Dar, Muntazir Mushtaq, Jazib Javeed Dar, Bazila Jan, Mahoora Irshad, Zainab Hakeem.

Last month the same office had felicitated students who made it to Medical colleges by qualifying NEET examination.

The objective of the event was to encourage such student and provide them a fillip to excel in their fields, a handout of the J&K Police said.
