Rohini Acharya, daughter of jailed Rashtiya Janata Dal (RJD) president and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad, has vowed to observe 30-days of fasting during Ramzan for the health of her father.

Rohini is the second daughter of Rabri andLaloo. She lives in Singapore and her husband hails from Aurangabad, Bihar.

Rohini was in India during February-March when she met her father Lalu Prasad, who is lodged in Ranchi. Lalu was convicted for embezzling government funds in what is known as the fodder scam. He has not been keeping good health. In between he was also shifted to Dehli’s AIIMS for treatment.

Rohini announced on her Facebook page that during the holy month of Ramzzan he has decided to fast for the entire month to pray for her father's health and well being! My father's condition should improve and I will pray for justice soon!

कल से रमज़ान का पाक महीना शुरू हो रहा है! इस साल हमने भी फैसला किया है कि पूरे महीने अपने पापा के सेहतयाबी और सलामती के लिए रोज़े रखूंगी! पापा की हालत में सुधार हो और जल्दी न्याय मिल सके इसकी भी दुआ करूँगी!
