Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Kashi after winning the election and becoming PM for the third time and he performed the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat amidst Vedic chants.

The event was attended by Governor Anandiben Patel and CM Yogi Adityanath.

Kashi is said to be the home of Lord Shiva, the ruler of the Universe. Lord shiva lives in Kashi since time unknown and this place is the most revered amongst Hindus all over the world.

It is said that visiting the holy city of Varanasi is a great fortune.

When Lord Shiva showers blessings on his devotees then life itself becomes a blessing.

PM Narendra Modi is in incessant love with the holy city of Varanasi and he always comes here to pray to Lord Shiva and Ganga Mata. After winning his historic third consecutive term it was PM Modi's turn to express his thankfulness to the divine supremacy.

Renowned astrologer Pandit Chandramauli Upadhyay and nine Archakas got PM Modi to worship Mother Ganga. During this time 18 girls were present in the form of Riddhi-Siddhi.

The holy city of Kashi is located on the bank of the river Ganga and the most interesting thing about Kashi is the numerous Ghats

All the Ghats in Varanasi are simply superb and eye-catching. These ghats carry the legacy of this place.

The Dashashwamedh Ghat is the most popular for its extravagant Ganga Aarti.

The Dashashwamedh Ghat was decorated with 10 quintals of flowers and illuminated with beautiful lamps.

Devotees present at the ghat chanted Mother Ganga and Har Har Mahadev.

The Aarti site of Dashashwamedh Ghat was decorated with flower garlands of sunflower, tuberose, ficus and marigold.

Those flowers were brought from Uttarakhand and Kolkata in West Bengal
