JUH scholarships given to non-Muslims too

Maulana Arshad Madani of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind has formally announced the scholarship for the academic year 2021-22. Even non-Muslims can apply for the scholarships that are given for pursuing degree courses.

Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind has been providing merit-based scholarships to the economically weaker students merit since 2012. The scholarships are given to students pursuing engineering, medical, educational and journalism courses who have scored at least 70 percent marks in their qualifying examination.

The last date for submission of scholarship for the year 2021-22 is 14 February 2022.

In fact, during the last academic year, 656 students selected in various courses were given scholarships, some of them even Hindu students.

The amount of scholarship that is disbursed has been increased to Rs one crore. The JUH says it would try to further increase the amount in the coming years.

 Maulana Arshad Madani, President, Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind said, “We are very happy to announce these scholarships that with this small effort of ours, the future of many such deserving and hardworking children can be shaped to some extent. Those who are facing difficulty in continuing their education due to their financial difficulties can avail of it.”
