Madiha from AMU bags scholarship to Cambridge

Madiha Noman, a student of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has secured a fully funded scholarship for her PhD at Cambridge University. She completed her MA in English from AMU in 2021 and now is heading to the Cambridge University, UK. with full sponsorship.

Madiha Noman has been an outstanding student during her career and she had secured the first position in hr masters course.

According to the AMU administration besides academics, Madiha has  interest in sports. She has represented the AMU in the first Inter-University North Zone Championship as vice-captain of the women's basketball team.

She has also participated in debating contests and won awards.

Prof. Muhammad Asim Siddiqui, Chairperson, Department of English, congratulated Madiha Noman on her remarkable achievement. He said that Madiha's success is the result of her hard work and she has set an example for others.

Another students from the English department, Abdul Sabur Qadwai, has also received a fully-funded scholarship for his PhD degree in a prominent British university.
