After unveiling it in China, iQOO has officially confirmed that its next flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15, will debut in India on November 26, 2025. The device will be among the first in the country to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, promising cutting-edge performance for gaming and multitasking.

The iQOO 15 serves as the successor to the iQOO 13, as the company chose to skip the “14” series. Sharing the news on X (formerly Twitter), Nipun Marya, CEO of iQOO India, teased the announcement with the caption, “Some moments define the year. This will be one of them!”

New software experience

With this launch, iQOO plans to introduce its refreshed user interface, Origin OS 6, based on Android 16. This marks a significant shift as the brand moves away from the Funtouch OS that powered its earlier smartphones.

Display and design

The Chinese edition of the iQOO 15 sports a 6.85-inch flat AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits — specifications that are expected to carry over to the Indian version. The screen is likely to deliver exceptional clarity, colour accuracy, and responsiveness, catering to both gamers and multimedia users.

Storage and performance

In China, the iQOO 15 is available with up to 1TB of internal storage and 16GB RAM. However, the Indian variant may see a slight adjustment, offering up to 512GB storage while maintaining the same RAM capacity.

Battery and charging

Continuing its focus on power efficiency, the device is expected to come equipped with a 7,000mAh battery paired with 100W fast charging support, ensuring quick top-ups and extended battery life.

Camera setup

The smartphone is likely to retain the same triple-camera system seen on the Chinese model. It includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and another 50MP auxiliary telephoto lens for enhanced zoom capabilities. For selfies and video calls, a 32MP front camera is expected.

Price expectations

Although the official pricing is yet to be announced, industry insiders suggest that the iQOO 15 will likely be positioned in the ₹60,000+ range, aligning it with other premium Android flagships in India.
