The Amarnath Yatra partially resumed on Monday from the Panjtarni side after a two-day halt due to a cloudburst near the darshan site.
According to the ITBP, pilgrims will proceed for darshan from Panjtarni and return from Baltal side. Entry from the Baltal side for darshan has been stopped due to bad weather conditions.
The Yatra was suspended on Friday after a cloudburst incident which claimed sixteen lives.
The Indian Army on Sunday inducted radars to trace survivors under the debris which was laid due to the cloudburst.
As many as 35 pilgrims rescued from the incident site were discharged following treatment. The critically injured patients were airlifted to Srinagar.
Meanwhile, the Lt. Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha visited a base camp in Pahalgam and met with pilgrims. He assured provision of all facilities to those who have come to visit the Amarnath cave shrine.

The Amarnath yatra was suspended for two years due to the pandemic.
