Shah Taj Khan whose science books for Children in the Urdu language are popular has released another book in the same genre 'Seen se Science' (Seen - an Urdu alphabet - for Science). The award-winning author and journalist, who lives in Pune with her family, got her latest book released by the children of a school at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Mobile Library in Vasai (Mumbai).
'Seen se Science' has become an important resource for young students. Shah Taj, who also writes for Awaz-the Voice has contributed immensely to raising awareness and interest of the school-going children in Science. Her style of storytelling to explain complex concepts of science in Urdu has been lapped up by students who don’t have proficiency in the English language.
Her recently released book Picnic was creating waves when Shah Taj Khan came up with Seen Se Science.
Speaking on the occasion, Shah Taj Khan said she has written this book for students so that they connect with an important subject.

The mobile library has been helping students of government schools in the Palgarh district of Maharashtra for one year. Naeem Ahmed, Saleem Imrani, Tanveer Ahmed, Asif Tahir Ali, the in-charge of the library, the student in charge of the library, Muntazer Sheikh, and others were present on this occasion.
Students were excited about inaugurating the book. Many of them started reading the book on the spot.
Giving instant feedback, some of the students told the author they were enjoying reading it.
Samna, a student of Zila Parishad Urdu School Wasai, said, “I have just read some pages of this book which are very interesting, after reading this book we will enjoy reading science too.” Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Mobile Library in-charge Muntar Shaikh said that the author explains science in an interesting and simple manner that draws students to the subject.

Retired teachers Sabiha Ansari and Naeem Ahmed have offered to buy 35 volumes of Seen Se Science and send them to the various mobile libraries and school libraries of the Palghar district as gifts for children.
